European Industrial Cluster

The European Industrial Cluster (EIC) is a voluntary association of individual companies, based on the joint interests of its members and their willingness to pool together their efforts through the activities set out in the described Program in order to optimize co-operation for joint projects, implementation as well as strengthening and expanding their regional and international market positions through national, regional and trans-border cooperation.

The Cluster will support its members in developing, implementing development and scientific innovative projects and practices in the field of production of equipment for the mechanical engineering, chemical, processing, food and light industries, agrarian production and their contiguous industries by improving the management skills, competitiveness and modernization of the production processes, as well as development and implementation of digitization, automation, robotics and integration of environmentally friendly technologies.

The objective is the collaboration of the EIC members with universities and technology centers within clusters and across regional and sectoral organizations. The EIC will generate joint actions and projects to fulfill sustainable partnering process for strategic European interregional collaboration in industrial modernization (industry 4.0) to help improving the European industrial environment.

Program for Efficient and Sustainable Manufacturing

Integration of industry innovative solutions coming from research and patents, exploiting the potential of smart specialization in order to introduce new and efficient high value technologies and products with innovative high efficiency Biomass energy solutions with Eco-friendly CO2 emissions.
The idea is to develop a European network of competitive pilot plants where companies can produce prototypes and test innovative solutions before the industrialization take place.
